π£ Business Owners - Help us Keep DART in Plano
On May 2nd, Plano citizens will vote on whether our city should withdraw from DART. If the vote favors withdrawal, all DART services in Plano would immediately end, including:
π The brand-new Silver Line train
π The Orange and Red Line trains
π Bus and GoLink (last mile) service
βΏ Paratransit for disabled riders
For businesses, this decision has serious consequences. Transit is more than convenience β itβs an economic driver:
Customers rely on DART to reach Downtown Plano shops, restaurants, and services.
Employees depend on transit for reliable, affordable commutes.
Visitors and residents choose Downtown Plano because itβs accessible by transit.
Removing DART would reduce foot traffic, limit workforce access, and weaken the vibrancy that makes our district thrive.
