About Us
We’re not just talking transit—we’re riding the route to keep Plano connected. Keep DART in Plano was created because we believe mobility is a right, not a privilege. Our commitment to DART runs deep: we advocate for reliable bus routes, paratransit services, and expanded options so no rider gets left at the curb. Our route started where Plano City Council stopped. On November 5, when leaders failed to provide a clear, public commitment to transit access, we stepped up. We’re frustrated by how this conversation has been sidetracked and believe decisions about public transit should happen in the open—with every citizen given a voice and time to speak. While we support DART’s mission, we are not affiliated with DART or the City of Plano—we’re an independent voice for the people who depend on transit every day.Our goal is simple: Keep DART in Plano.
Meet Our Directors
Every great route needs a solid map—and these are the navigators keeping us on track.

President & Transit Truth Tracker
Embher isn’t just along for the ride—she’s the rider who digs into every detour. After a few too many crashes behind the wheel, she relied on DART buses every day to get to work. Without those routes, she wouldn’t have arrived at her current stop as a successful Software Product Analyst. These days, she works from home in North Central Plano, but still hops on DART whenever possible. She’s convinced there’s a hidden agenda behind the council’s transit decisions—and she’ll stay up all night connecting the dots (and reading conspiracy theories on the bus). If you get a late-night email about a new strategy, it’s probably from her. Trust us: you want her uncovering routes, not driving them. -
Treasurer & Fare Collector
Kaylen is the operator who keeps our financial tracks clear and the fare box balanced. He loves public transit and misses his daily DART rides from when he worked downtown. For him, buses and trains are a stress-free alternative to navigating Texas traffic. Now an Automation Engineer, Kaylen knows tech—and he’s confident the City of Plano can’t build a transit app that works. If they try, he’ll be the first to file a bug report. He’s also wary of autonomous vehicles (looking at you, Waymo) when riding his motorcycle. Kaylen’s route is all about making sure our movement stays funded and on schedule. -
Secretary & Track Designer
Katie is the architect of our plans—the one who drafts the big picture and keeps our meetings on time. She has an affinity for trains and has spent more time car-less than anyone on the team. Living in Downtown Plano but commuting to Legacy West is no short ride, and she knows firsthand how vital buses are to keeping the city connected. Katie ensures our organizational tracks are laid straight so this movement never derails.
